Ricky Asemota

Ricky co-leads McKinsey’s Transformation practice for West Africa and has extensively served client transformations in Oil & Gas, Energy and Oil Field Service & Equipment sectors across Europe and Africa on a variety of transformation topics such as a holistic end-to-end transformation for a West African Upstream E&P operator to increase throughput, optimize asset production volumes and reduce production cost; a full scale transformation of a Global leading oil field service & equipment company, developing the target operating model, designing the full org blueprint, establishing shared service hubs and technical centres of excellence in order to optimize cost efficiencies, better organize for market growth, ensure consistency of service delivery and functional alignment.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Ricky qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, London and led the Africa fund strategy at the Wellcome Trust, where she led the transformation of the Trust’s target operating model (TOM) for public health research funds in Africa.

She holds an MBA from London Business School as well as a BSc. (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University.
